CV Saviour is an Australian résumé writing company with a great reputation and an excellent track record of success for our clients, who range from blue collar workers to senior executives.

We’re going through a period of expansion, and due to an increasing demand for our services, we are looking for new freelancers to join our small but growing team of writers.

We’re fun to work with and we have great clients – they don’t settle for second best, and neither do we. People’s careers and livelihoods depend on what we do.

You can have a resume writing career with us if you have:


1+ years résumé writing. Similar, transferable experience is acceptable, but our expectation is that you have written at least 50 resumes from scratch.

A relevant qualification or undergraduate degree.

Expert-level Microsoft Word skills. (You MUST be able to format Word documents at an expert level).


An eye for detail and an unwavering commitment to excellence.


Superior verbal and written communication skills.

An ability to quickly understand the job and work experience our clients have.

 Able to work from home and have your own PC/laptop with Microsoft Word, internet connection, and phone.

In this resume writing job, you will be:


Able to write clear, succinct achievement-based examples of experience using CAR, STAR, SAO or SOAR statements. Your sample resumes should illustrate this.


Comfortable having no verbal client contact and able to manage clients online and write content solely from client worksheets and notes (the majority of our clients now work with us online, so you may need to go back to clients by email with queries).


A sophisticated wordsmith, able to translate sometimes complex, specialist and technically challenging material into usable copy.


Equally comfortable personally interviewing clients on the phone.


Able to build a rapport with clients through email or on the phone to extract the information you need to craft an interview-winning résumé.

In return we are offering:

Work from home (anywhere in Australia) in the hours that you choose (this is the dream job for those with availability during school hours).

Rates are dependent on your turnaround times. We offer a rate per client, dependent on the complexity of the project – how long it takes to write is up to you (dependent on our deadlines).


We can offer as much resume writing work as you want to take on, however we expect our writers to take on at least 1 client a week.


Please note that this is freelance work – most of our writers work with us to supplement their full- or part-time incomes or they work during school hours.

This is not an entry-level position. We’re looking for writers who can hit the ground running.


We are only interested in hearing from candidates looking for long-term work.


Only experienced applicants who can provide 3 samples of their work, as well as their own resume and cover letter should apply. Resumes samples supplied MUST have multiple examples of achievements in them. 


Those with experience in marketing, communications, and human resources are strongly encouraged to apply, as are copywriters and those with a gift for persuasive writing.
