We frequently see articles in the media about the rise of artificial intelligence (AI) and robotics in relation to job security and the future of jobs in Australia. And according to a report posted on ABC.net.au, Australia should be looking to double its pace of artificial intelligence, robotics and automation in order to reap a $2.2 trillion opportunity by 2030, while also urgently preparing to support more than 3 million workers whose jobs may be at risk. While we agree that automation will impact every job to some degree (we use automation to send out emails to those who use our free CV Health Check, for example, and we also use a cloud-based project management program that is semi-automated to help with our workflow), pretty much everything else we do, needs real people to make it work.
